Trusted adviser, people developer and facilitator

​Peter is a Partner at April Strategy, bringing over 25 years of experience in change and transformation. He has worked with clients across industries, guiding them from strategy through to successful implementation. His passion lies in helping organisations and their people unlock their full potential by building the capability to deliver sustainable change.

​

Peter holds a first-class honours degree in aerospace engineering from Manchester University. He began his career in management consulting, initially focusing on the financial services sector before expanding his expertise into other industries. Over the course of his career, he has led the full lifecycle of change, from strategy and operating model design to leading transformation programmes and hands-on delivery of change initiatives.

In addition to his client work in organisation design and development, Peter has spent the past 20 years nurturing his passion for people development. He has designed and delivered learning programmes within the organisations he’s worked for, and this passion led him to leadership roles in HR, people development, and talent management. His experience covers all aspects of the employee lifecycle, and he has been instrumental in leading organisation-wide and cultural change initiatives.

A strong advocate for mental health, Peter actively promotes mental wellbeing in his work. He is a qualified Mental Health First Aider and instructor, committed to creating supportive environments.

Peter lives in West Yorkshire with his family. Outside of work, he enjoys barbecuing in any weather and is a devoted fan of Bradford City Football Club. For the past decade, Peter has volunteered as a school governor, currently serving as the Chair of the Resources Committee and Wellbeing Governor at a local primary school.
