Diane is an experienced, highly committed, results-oriented and pragmatic Project/ Programme Manager and HR professional.  Diane has over 20 years broad experience of delivering successful projects/programmes for global blue-chip companies across retail, hospitality, travel, utility, manufacturing, and legal businesses, both in the UK, across Europe and globally.

 

She has worked with premier brands such as, Royal Caribbean Cruises, InterContinental Hotels Group and SSE, as well as a number of SME’s and has been a member of April Strategy for the past 4 years.

 

Diane has recently delivered the following successful projects/programmes: -

 

  • Programme managed a number of priority projects to support the delivery of a 5 year strategy for an international law firm. Supported the development of values and a behavioural competency framework, conducted a change impact assessment, and developed roll out/comms plan.

  • Designed and delivered Target Operating Model for HRIS to consolidate and streamline several different ways of working due to acquisitions.  Developed and implemented change plan to support this.

  • Facilitated the identification, prioritisation and phasing of transformational projects to deliver a 3-year strategic plan.Developed governance, project management tools, consolidated change plan and ways of working to enable the leadership team to self-manage delivery of the transformational projects.Worked with board to re-prioritise projects due to Covid-19.

  • A Global GDPR transformation programme - managing and leading a team of 14 Project Managers to deliver the analysis and remediation activity to comply with new EU General Data Protection Regulation.

  • The restructure of a number of European offices and set up of a new Eurozone hub – Planned and managed the re-structure of the consolidation of a number of support functions across Europe and set up of a new Eurozone support hub, designing new processes and recruiting c40 staff. An enhanced customer experience– Planned and managed a cross functional project to deliver an enhanced customer journey and significant operational cost savings, within the highly regulated energy industry.

 

Diane is an excellent communicator, with the ability to quickly build strong relationships with key stakeholders. She is extremely adaptable in fast changing and complex environments and has a demonstrable record of delivering projects on time and budget. Diane is a strong people/team leader managing, developing, coaching and mentoring large teams.
