We design the process to help our clients navigate and resolve critical strategic questions ensuring alignment, belief and commitment to a clear  direction amongst a leadership team

One of the prerequisites for sustainable organisational success is a leadership team that is aligned, has belief and is committed to a strategic direction.

We pose the questions and enable the conversations that will unpack and repack topics such as:

Lifestage

  • Where are we on the corporate lifecycle? Are we looking to establish a new proposition, to find a way to achieve scale, to successfully compete at scale, or to diversify and innovate?

  • What does our external environment look like: how do we imagine it might evolve over the next few years, and what does that mean for us?


Purpose & Values

  • What is the motivating purpose and aspiration for our organisation? How will we measure future success, and what does ‘good’ look like?

  • What are the values and beliefs that we share and shape the way we behave?

  • What is our appetite for risk and our investment horizon? (often determined by external investors)

Choices

  • What are the critical strategic choices in front of us? Where and how can we compete to win? What are our strategic priorities? What do we actively choose not to do?

 

Leadership

  • To what extent do leaders and managers across the organisation have the knowledge and skills to contribute to the formulation and delivery of strategy?

  • Where can we identify needs for more resource and professional development?


We design the process to help you navigate and resolve these questions, with the aim of getting to a tight ‘strategy on a page’ that is articulated as a dynamic story for the rest of the organisation: a story in which the people responsible for delivering the strategy are active participants.
