Venture architect and commercial strategist

Rob joined April Strategy in 2021 bringing extensive experience of the automotive and financial services sectors as well as leading finance and operations in a successful start-up.

A prize-winning CIMA management accountant with a first-class degree in economics and accounting from the University of Bristol, he began his career at UBS Investment Bank in finance before moving into the COO office supporting debt capital markets. He then moved to Volkswagen Group, adding value in a variety of financial, strategic and operational roles within different brands and group functions.

Rob combines exceptional analytical problem-solving skills with commercial and operational expertise to connect commercial, financial and strategic thinking and deliver value for clients across a variety of sectors. He loves problem solving, designing new processes and developing integrated strategic planning to support transformation.

Outside of work, Rob enjoys running, following Leicester City and is also a fan of American football.
