Ruth joined April Strategy in 2023, bringing experience across the public sector, including roles within the NHS and the Insolvency Service.

Working closely with April's Managing Partners, she plays a central role in the day-to-day operation of the business, helping to create the structure, visibility and momentum that enables the team to focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.

Currently studying business management at The Open University, Ruth combines a practical, operational background with a passion for continuous learning and improvement. Her experience spans business operations, project support, governance and stakeholder coordination, giving her a broad understanding of what enables organisations to perform effectively.

Ruth is known for her organisation, collaborative approach and ability to bring clarity to complexity. She enjoys improving processes, connecting people and turning ideas into action, helping teams and businesses thrive as they grow.

Outside of work, Ruth lives in Plymouth with her family. She enjoys running, baking and making the most of the South West coastline.
